NEKTAN Appoints Ex-Sweett CFO
NEKTAN PLC has appointed a new Chief Financial Offer, Patrick Sinclair, formerly of Sweett Group plc.
The mobile gaming specialists confirmed Sinclair’s arrival earlier the month, the first in the newly-restructured company, following the appointment of NEKTAN CEO Leigh Nissim last August.
A spokesperson for NEKTAN, said: “Prior to joining the company, Patrick was until recently chief financial officer of Sweett Group and was previously head of finance at Penna Consulting.”
The move marks Sinclair’s first foray into the gaming industry, in a distinguished career spanning almost 20 years.
A qualified accountant, with a degree in International Business Management from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Sinclair has worked across a variety of industries.
Beginning his working life at renowned accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sinclair moved to the UK branch of international food production company Danone UK in 2003, rising to Financial Controller three years later.
From there, he headed up finance departments for National Car Parks Ltd and human resources business Penna plc, before joining construction specialists Sweett Group plc in October 2012.
Sinclair’s appointment comes after the London AIM-listed company raised £1.75 million in 2016, through the sale of three mobile gaming brands to Buckingham HMB.
A previous board member at Sweett, it is intended that Mr Sinclair will join the board of NEKTAN in due course.
NEKTAN PLC operates a successful marketing services team, in conjunction with Betfred founder Fred Done, and digital acquisition expert Warren Jacobs. The partnership has yielded a NEKTAN affiliate programme, which offers a range of innovative products, and a white-label casino solution.Back to news...
